Koisan Sushi is a Japanese restaurant that has offered creative, fresh, and authentic Japanese cuisine at the heart of orange since 1982. Illuminated by Japanese style lanterns and the walls adorned with specialized craftsman woodwork, Koisan is a time machine to ancient Japan.
Koisan's dining experience can be approached one of two ways. Diners can request the dining room where the kitchen menus such as the Seafood Tokyo Udon Pasta, or the or Miso Black Cod Entree; or request the sushi bar to order sushi and sashimi such as Toro (Bluefin Tuna Belly) or Tai (Sea Bream) a la carte with the help of our skilled chef Ken.

Do you guys welcome big parties?
Yes! Our party room accommodates sizes up to 25 guests! For parties above 6 an above, availability will vary. Please make sure to call and reserve your table in advance!

What kind of atmosphere do you host?
Our atmosphere is “fine-casual”. You are not require to dress up although you are more than welcome to! Families, couples, and solo diners are all welcome at Koisan Sushi Bar. Our noise level is moderate and host a contemporary Japanese music playlist.

Do you serve non-seafood items?
We have an extensive menu that we think that would serve the palette of even the most pickiest eaters! We have wide selection of entrées and appetizers from the kitchen. Please check our menu here.

What about those following a dietary lifestyle or with food alergies?
We are a sushi bar that prides in serving on the principle that orders are prepared fresh on order. We do not pre-make our items, thus the majority of our items can be customized to fit your dietary needs. We take allergen warnings very seriously. Please let your service member known of any allergies and food ingredients promptly.

Are you guys "All-You-Can-Eat"?
We do not offer all you can eat options. We pride in serving our patrons with the best possible ingredients possible. However, we do have a very generous and extensive happy hour going on from 3PM-9PM; excluding major holidays. Please check out our happy hour and takeout special menu here!

Do you guys offer Omakase?
Yes! Omakase is a Japanese tradition that we exemplify to offer here at Koisan Sushi Bar. Please check out our menu here to see our table Omakase offerings. We only offer our full Omakase at the sushi bar. Reservations are highly recommended for our bar omakase and prices vary based on market price.
